Banyan Tree Launch New Brand

Singapore's Banyan Tree Group will introduce a new brand Cassia, into the market.
The group has five properties under development for the brand including Laguna Shores in Phuket, Sri Lanka, Bintan Indonesia, Gold Coast in Australia and Lijiang China.
A platform for Cassia is hotel branded residences which are sold as real estate offerings and operated by the management group. Most of these are in the one and two bedroom segment.
Banyan Tree see an enormous opportunity in property led offerings and intend to focus on further international expansion.
