LEADING ASIAN HOTEL SCHOOL Hong Kong PolyU Teams with Hotel ICON

In what is emerging to be not only a leading Asian hotel school but a world class one, Hong Kong's Polytechnic University is working with the Hotel ICON which is set to launch this year. Located in Tsim Sha Tsui East the property will cooperate with PolyU's prestigious School of Hotel and Tourism Management. Industry veteran Richard Hatter who most recently had a corporate role in development with Shangri-La has been appointed General Manager.
The facility is set to offer work-study internships which combine both an educational and commercial aspect to learning. Given Asia's booming hotel industry, the facility is aimed to train a growing workforce well into the future.
In Singapore another prestigious hotel school has continued to take root with the Cornell Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management upping its offering by means of its connection to the famed US institution.
