Category: Hotels, Posted:22 Jul 2015 | 08:19 am

The budget hotel venture between Red Planet and Tune Hotels has come to an end with twenty-four properties across the region being re-branded.
Currently Red Planet who are headquartered in Bangkok have properties in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Japan with nearly 4,000 rooms in inventory.
Launched in 2011 the AirAsia link with Tune had been expected to unlock broader cross-marketing synergies with the airline, but the hotel chain has been effective in developing their own unique client base.
It's unknown what is the future of Tune, which has hotels in Malaysia and a select number of international locations.
Meanwhile Red Planet is in the midst of preparing for the opening of their new Tokyo hotel.
