Accor Taps Into Starck's Mama Shelter

French hotel chain Accor has acquired a 30% interest in Philippe Starck's boutique brand Mama Shelter.
The upstart brand currently operates a few properties in France and one in Turkey, but has gained widespread acclaim for it's innovative stylish offering.
It's understood the alliance will spur expansion further into Europe and North America.
For Asia at present it seems that most of the design led properties are traveling West to East.
