Category: Hotels, Posted:21 Aug 2016 | 09:16 am

Former Amanresorts top gun Adrian Zecha is back to his old tricks in the hospitality trade with a new venture branded as the Maha Yacht Club.

The Maha business model is similar to a destination club with members purchasing four annual weeks usage under the group’s fleet of luxury super yachts. Maintenance costs are covered by the membership fee.

Joining Zecha as part of Maha is CEO Stephen White and ex-Setai Hotel Group executive Jonathan Breene.

Currently three custom-built vessels are planned, led by a Feadship  118 foot (36 meter) super yacht which has had its interior designed by superstar designer Jean Michel Gathy.

A series of home ports are in the works that includes Phuket, Bali, Ibiza and Monaco.

Reportedly pricing for four week, ten year tenure is well in excess of USD1 million.
