While low-cost airlines can make a destination through surging airlift, they also have the power to turn off the tap just as fast.
A good example is Thai AirAsia who has announced that their flights between Bangkok and Nay Pyi Taw have been canceled, just one months into operations.
The airline is stating that there are commercial reasons behind the decision spurred by low load factors.
Bangkok Airways remains the only Thai carrier operating between the twin capital cities of Thailand and Myanmar.
