AirAsia Taking On India

Leading low-cost airline carrier AirAsia is tying up with India's Tata Group for a venture on the sub-continent.
News on the joint venture is that government approval has been given, with Chennai slated to be the base of operations.
According to the BBC, only one of the existing six Indian airlines – IndiGo was in the black last year.
