Aussie Dollar Heads Down Under

As the Australian dollar continues to devalue against a number of Asian currencies, two clear effects for tourism are becoming clear.
First is the destination is becoming more favorable by the day and the previously high exchange rate had created a barrier to many of the regions travelers.
Expect more Asian's to head down under to get a bang for their buck.
One the converse side though is the relatively high number of regional investors who sought a safe haven and stabilized trading in Oz.
While there may be only paper losses at present, the inability to sell or restructure hospitality assets are set to make them somewhat unwilling long- term holders of hotels properties.
