Australian's Department of Foreign Affairs has issued an updated travel advice for the destination.
Tomorrow is the beginning of the annual Nyepi festival which is marked by a day of silence marking the Hindu Balinese New Year.
According to the Bali Hotel Association Chairman Jean-Charles Le Coz –

Adding "While we always advise everyone in Bali-whether locals or holidaymakers-to be vigilant for anything suspicious, we also have to thank the law-enforcement and terrorism officials for protecting our island from those who seeks to disrupt and destroy."
