Bangkok Amusement Park Wants Foreigners

One of Bangkok's longest established tourist attractions Siam City Park is looking to cash in on the current trend of mass tourism.
Established in 1980 the park occupies 240 rai with both a water park and amusement park.

The park reports total visitor traffic at 2 million a year though according to an article in the Nation last year the number of foreigners was only 200,000. Park entrance is THB900.
A new strategy is to look at developing the overseas Russian and Asian markets in order to boost traffic.
In the Nation piece the operators City Walk said they are looking at the possibility of developing a 100 room hotel in order to attract destination travelers.
