MARK VAN OGTROP joined Golden Tulip as the Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Golden Tulip South East Asia. He brings along more than thirty years of experience in the hotel business, having started in the 80's with Golden Tulip in Europe. He has worked in 3 continents and has over 15 years experience in Asia, having worked with The Peninsula Group in Hong Kong and Dusit Hotels & Resorts in Thailand. Mr. van Ogtrop was Area Manager for Dorint Hotels in Europe prior to joining Golden Tulip.
BILL BARNETT is the Founder and Managing Director of hospitality consulting firm C9 Hotelworks. With 26 years of experience in Asia Pacific, he is a leading specialist on hotel and property development issues. C9 is a market leader in providing market research for developers and financial institutions. He is a columnist with a number of leading newspapers, including the Phuket Gazette and The Nation and has appeared on CNBC, the BBC and CNN. FRANK CLOVYN is the General Manager of The Landmark Bangkok. Educated at the Higher Hotel College, Antwerp, his career has included assignments in Korea, Philippines, Spain, Israel and Australia. Having lived in Thailand for 18 years, he also serves as the President of the Belgian-Luxembourg-Thai (BeluThai) Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time he enjoys sailing, scuba diving and golf.

COLIN HASTINGS is the MD of The BigChilli Co., Ltd., which produces Thailand's best-read expatriate magazine, the BigChilli, as well as a recently launched gourmet newspaper, Bon Appetit. The company employs 15 staff and two expatriates. A former Fleet Street journalist with over 40 years' experience, including 12 years at the Bangkok Post, Colin has lived in the Kingdom since 1975. He has been a member of the BCCT Board for the past three years, sitting on a number of committees, including MarComs and Tourism. Colin is also a member of the FCCT, British Club, Royal Bangkok Sports Club, and Varuna Yacht Club.
