Bugatti Hotels Phuket Springboard

A new upstart hotel chain Bugatti with a financial pedigree is using Greater Phuket as a springboard for a larger global expansion.
Two hospitality led developments with luxury residential components are currently under construction with one on the island's east coast and the other on Ko Phi Phi.
While Bugatti is a being led by hoteliers Michael H. Wetzlar and Steve Renard, the thread that ties the budding hotel chain and Phuket developments together is a common investor Johan Hansen.
Hansen is a large-scale property developer from Europe with his primary company Skyline Projects NV. Here in Phuket he is a major force of development firm Beach Projects
Bugatti is also in the midst of new projects in Bali, Bahamas and Myanmar.
At the Bugatti Retreat Phi Phi 99 branded suites and 47 residences are planned, Suites start at 144 square meters. The hotel is expected to open in 2016, though a beach club restaurant, bar and initial residences are expected to be completed by mid 2014.
An affiliated company Dolphin Seaways will operate two hydrofoils between Phuket's deep sea port at Ao Makham and to the Bugatti Retreat pier and also public pier on Phi Phi. Dates are yet to be confirmed when the service will start, though the two watercraft have already been acquired,
While the second project Silver Beach is situated near to Laem Hin. Here a combination of Bugatti branded suites with 16 units and 12 villas, along with 63 condominiums and 48 apartments will be built.
The first phase of the development has reached 60% completion and is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2014.
An impressive set of design consultants has been assembled included landscape by Bill Bensley, Arcas Euopre for architecture. Interiors have been split between P. Tendercool and Halo.
