The term comes about through the internet with deceptive links that promise an interesting twist and only ends up connecting you to the video of faded pop star Rick Astley singing 'Never Gonna Give You Up.'
A fad ensued which virtually circled the globe and created a YouTube sensation.
Last heard from Rick is now taking on the sedate life as a DJ on a popular London radio show.
