Cambodian Tourism Leverages Culture
Looking at last years tourism numbers in Cambodia, what is clearly apparent that the country's appeal is largely leverage on cultural aspects.
Over 4.2 million visitors came to the country, but Siem Reap accounted for mover 2.2 million of these.
As the country tries to diversify into the southern beach areas and other attractions for now the market is very much a one trick pony.
That said the appeal is continuing to grow, given year-on-year demand was up 17% in 2013 and is forecasting further increases in 2014.
