They aren't the first and won' t be the last but upscale hotel operator GHM are launching a new China specific brand.
Christened as "Ahn Luh" the initiative is a joint undertaking with a Mainland Chinese partner.
Clearly the aim is to fast track China development but also provide an in-house brand for a high net worth local group.
Hotel chains are increasingly on the wish list for many high net worth Asian real estate investors and family run enterprises.
