Michael who is General Manager of the upscale Tongsai Bay Resort also has headed the Thailand Hotels Association (THA) Samui

Coincidentally his departure will come on the 25th anniversary of the Tongsai property. While relocating back to the UK, Michael will continue to be an brand ambassador for the resort in Europe.
An incoming General Manager Leisa Kenny has been appointed, after a tenure at Khao Lak's Sarojin resort.
It will be sad to see Michael leave, as his contribution to Samui's tourism sector has been significant and the efforts with THA have been equally admirable.
