DEPARTURES Michael Burchett Leaves Conrad

Leading hospitality face Michael Burchett has left the Conrad Resort after a long stint at the property.
Burchett is one of the best-known hotel personalities on the island. He formerly headed the Bali Hotels Association (BHA) and opened the iconic Four Seasons Jimbaran a number of years ago.
He also served in various executive positions with the luxury chain Regent and Thailand's Minor Group (Anantara).
I met up with Michael this past week and he is staying in Bali and setting up a hotel consulting business specializing in operational advisory services, appropriately called MJB Hospitality.
