Destination Properties Kamala Cove Resort Restarting

We have learned that the 202 room upscale Kamala Cove Resort will be restarting shortly and plans to open within nine months.
While the project had previously been branded to Marriott, it is unclear if the management agreement has been retained.
It's also understood that developer Destination Properties will be embarking on an expansion of their Talay Karon Beach Resort (formerly Ramada).
Destination own three Courtyard by Marriott properties in Phuket, and one in Cha-Am, along with the Hilton Hua Hin.
