Direct Phuket Ho Chi Minh Flights Coming

As Phuket is set to usher in it’s tourism high season, the latest flight news is of a direct service between the island and Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.

Vietjet will commence four weekly flights from December 15th.

This is not the first time the route has been flown, with AirAsia having a short run a number of years ago.

Airlift into the region is continuing to soar with recent notable announcements that Qatar Airlines will fly from Doha to U-Tapao International Airport on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard and also flights to Penang.

While the carrier is located in the Middle East, the obvious end game is to tap into the Europe and offer a gateway to Asia.
