Not only is it home to the Four Seasons, W, Conrad and Orient Express but now the island is turning upside down.
Down under the legendary Baan Taling Ngam now under the management of Intercontinental and set to turn heads with a stunning food and beverage offering.
Last week I visited General Manager Arnaud Girodan who many here remember from his stint at the Indigo Peal. The hotel team is gearing up fast and furious for a February 1st unveiling.

In a combination of old and new, the food and beverage outlets stand out with some very creative and edgy offerings. First is the Air Bar, poised up high overlooking 180 degree views of the beach and ocean.
Next is Amber which is an Asian fusion outlet that has borrowed some inspiration from Joel Robuchon's bag of tricks at L'Atelier and has a front and center interactive kitchen with standing dining.
Counters are interspaced with cooking stations into one very special offering. Expect big things from this one.
Next are the select oceanfront villas located right on the white sand beach and the grill restaurants Flames.
Lots of interesting designs from Thai wonderhouse P49. Expect this property shift some demand soon with its partner the nearby Conrad.
