Dusit Launches New Easy A Brand

Category: Hotels, Posted:04 Apr 2018 | 06:00 am

The quest by hotel chains to create new brands that start with the letter A is continuing unabated.

Making news in a stunning change in the alphabet for Dusit who’s legacy has been based on the letter D and extended into D2. Now it’s all about the letter A.

Indeed, Thailand’s Dusit Hotels and Resorts has rolled-out the ASAI brand which is reportedly aimed at millennial curious-minded travelers.

Upcoming ASAI properties are in the pipeline for Bangkok’s Chatuchak area, Cebu Philippines and Yangon.

I’m actually curious as to what ASAI means, though my short-lived effort on the internet have only come up with a reference to a Japanese surname that means “endless well” and also the acronym for Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland.

For Thai speakers the translation will be easier as ASAI translates to shelter, though for the rest of the world the brand will have to build the storyline.

Easy A, you bet. Next please.
