Elephant Training School Hits Big With Tourists

Lampang's Thai Elephant Conservation Centre has been awarded an eco-travel award by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Back of what is considered to the the country's first mahout training school, the centre has been overwhelmed by requests from tourists wanting to attend the training course.
A 3 day session which covers knowledge about elephants, rudimentary training and the interaction between the animals and teacher cost's THB 9,500 inclusive of meals and two night's accommodation.
