EXCLUSIVE Nai Harn Getting New U Branded Resort
Emerging Thai based U Hotels and Resorts have signed a management agreement for a 140 key resort overlooking Nai Harn at the southern tip of Phuket.
The operator is the hospitality arm of Thailand listed conglomerate BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited which was formerly known as Tanayong Public Company and changed names in May. The group's core business is the Bangkok sky train along with property development.
With construction underway the property will enter the market in late 2011. Room sizes go from 45 up to 90 square meters. The resort is being developed by At Nai Harn Resort Co., Ltd.
U is continuing its brand building exercise together with its Eastin brand with developments coming up in Bangkok and other Thai destinations as well as overseas in Bali, India and Vietnam.
