Global Wellness Industry Valued At USD3.4 Trillion

A new report by SRI International has valued the worldwide wellness and spa industry at USDD3.4 trillion.
News agency Reuters has quoted that the global spa industry alone generated nearly USD100 billon in 2014 according to the Global Spa and Wellness Economy Monitor report.
Be it wellness, spa, weight loss, detox, fitness or yoga, getting well these days is adding up to very big numbers.
While Phuket has been a pioneering leader in spa's, it has yet to have a mass of destination facilities which draw guests as does Chiva Som in Hua Hin or Koh Samui's Kamalaya.
