Go Climb A Rock In Phuket

Category: Tourism, Posted:12 Feb 2017 | 13:26 pm

Have I lost my mind you might ask or what is the big deal about a rock?

As most of Phuket has obsessed about building more hotels across the island, businesses are finally starting to understand the changing taste of tourism.

The island is no long just about the beach and the age of the smartphone has unlocked the travelers options in getting out of the box.

One new start up that has caught my eye is Rebel Rock Climbing which is located between Cherngtalay (Laguna area) and the Heroines Monument.

Adjacent to Anthem Wave Park the facility includes 700 square meters of indoor climbing space.

Be it beginner, experienced or those looking at corporate or team building, the space is unique and a great addition to the island.

Other amenities include a café, shower and locker rooms and equipment shop.

Enter the age of tourists and locals looking at active holidays and experiences and expect more niche offerings in this segment in the coming year or two.
