HOTEL CONSTRUCTION 198 Room Rawai Palm Beach Resort

The southern part of the island is seeing a renaissance of new hotels with the opening this year of Outrigger Serenity Terraces, Radisson Plaza, branding of Golden Tulip Mangosteen Resort and now the new 198 room Rawai Palm Beach Resort has commence construction.
Set to open in mid 2011 the midscale resort will offer rooms ranging from 45 square meters up to 55. With a contemporary Thai design element the resort will have 3 swimming pools, some rooms with direct pool access and feature aqua loungers (sun beds in the pool). Three food and beverage outlets and a meeting/function room for 80 people round out the offering.
Developed by the group who own the Kata Palm Resort and Spa and long established Saeng Chai Construction Materials on the bypass road.
