In what is arguably the largest global sporting many local tourism players are wondering is this a plus or minus for June and July visitors.
While they travel or stay at home?
As the British pound is plundered and Euro eclipses, perhaps a potent mix of currency and football fanaticism will result in travelers taking to their barcaloungers instead of those shiny airline seats.
Historically big events do displace some travel but perhaps a saving grace is the island is in the midst of its low season so the sudden impact will be minimized.
