I Think I'm Turning Chinese

Category: Tourism, Posted:16 Nov 2013 | 06:00 am

With over 80 million outbound Chinese travelers last year, travel industry sources are forecasting that the number could swell to 400 million in 2018.
One key trend identified in the second annual China International Travel Monitor is a defined shift from group tours to independent travel.
One key initiative that could accelerate the change would be Thailand's possible move to visa free entry for Chinese nationals which is currently under study.
As per the CITM report China based visitors list of top requests are smoking rooms, Chinese language TV stations, free Wi-Fi, hotel staff who can speak Chinese and breakfasts that cater to the Mainland guests.
Chinese currently rank at the head of overseas travelers to the Kingdom and may top 4 million arrivals this year.
