Ironman (Not The Movie) Comes To Phuket

Okay so we can scratch any Robert Downey Jr. frenzy and forget the strains of the Black Sabbath heavy metal classic but indeed Laguna Phuket has moved into fast forward for its premier event Ironman 70.3 Asia Pacific Championship.
The date of Sunday December 5 has been set, close on the heels of the increasingly popular 17th version of the Laguna Phuket Triathlon on Sunday November 28.
Both ambitious events look to gain athletes from all over the world and it's a tribute to the organizers to see these global events hit the island's shores.
