Is End In Sight For Visa Runs?

Most anyone driving from Phuket over the bridge into Phang Nga has seen speeding vans with a Visa Run logo heading North or South.
In the days following the Bangkok bombing border immigration is again under the microscope as is the issue of human trafficking.
Checkpoints at border areas are becoming increasingly sensitive and those seeking visa runs are know being cautioned to fly.
Current low-cost destinations seem to hover around Cambodia, Laos and Malaysia being the nearest and cheapest.
While it's doubtful the border clampdown will remain long-term for now Visa Runs for the most part have gone airborne.
