Is Thailand Ready For Formula 1?

Recent media play has been heard back of comments by Thailand's Convention and Exhibition Bureau over a possible bid for a Formula One event.
Certainly there is an existing synergy given the affinity by a partially homegrown Red Bull brand which is heavily involved in the sport.
There is little doubt that both the English Premier League football coverage and F1 are huge not only in Asia, but can this be translated into a viable proposition.
While we have our doubts, given the enormous infrastructure required, and investment at a time when the country is just getting back to normal (well sort of).
But for now, the media has hold of the bone like a hungry soi dog so lets see where the road may lead….
