Laguna Phuket Triathlon Registration Closed

One of the islands premier big events the Laguna Phuket Triathlon scheduled for December 6 has sold out in just 3 weeks with online sales now being closed. With expectations of over 900 participants the event has successfully sold out for the past 4 years and is garnering worldwide participation. For those wishing to do the event a waiting list has been created on the event website.
Laguna will also be hosting the Laguna International Marathon on June 14th, which includes a full, and half marathon, 10km fun run, 6km walk and 2km kid's event. The marathon is becoming increasingly popular with overseas and domestic visitors. Big events like these two are key in driving tourism to Phuket and Laguna continues to be instrumental though their Destination Market team in growing these homegrown initiatives.
