Marijuana Tourism Goes Up Like Smoke

Sitting in the US there is much chatter about the potential for a new niche – marijuana travel.
With the recent American elections two states – Washington and Colorado not only allow possession of small amounts but visitors may also avail of weed.
In the ski hub of Aspen locals are already heralding a surge of new visitors with the tagline Aspendam (coined after the much famous smoke capital Amsterdam).
While both states are already large players in ski tourism perhaps the term apres ski is set to take on a whole new meaning.
