Marriott and IHG Brand Phuket Hotels

New Year 2017 is here and global hotel chains Marriott and InterContinental have branded existing Phuket Hotels.

First up is the Merlin Beach Resort at Tri-Trang Beach in Patong, which is now Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Merlin Beach.

Next up is the Phuket Panwa Beach Resort that has again come under the InterContinental Group as the Crowne Plaza Phuket Panwa Beach.

This is the second time around for IHG at this particular hotel.

Meanwhile in January expect more branding news in Greater Phuket at a significant resort property in Khao Lak.
