MetroPolo Target Rising Chinese Middle Class
Mainland China's surging Jin Jiang has set the wheels moving on a new brand MetroPolo.
The brand is aiming to accelerate expansion though both purpose build and retrofitted properties that can be done in historic buildings.
There is considerable pressure in China by the government to stop excessive spending and this has hit luxury hotels and high priced restaurants.
MetroPolo is aiming to up the midscale experience with aspirational offerings of art and design which is meant to elevate it against key competitors.
