NEW LUXX RESORT Cloud 19 Beach Retreat Panwa

Phuket's east coast continues to make inroads on the island's tipping scale of accommodation with the opening of the new boutique luxury Cloud 19 Beach Retreat at Cape Panwa. Renovating a classic residence of a famed Thai family into 19 keys, an eclectic mix of suites, family rooms and residential styled units make up the offering.
The resort offers sea views, two swimming pools and one restaurant. Rates start at THB 3,500 up 16,500 for the larger units. Developed by Bangkok based Hathai Property Group who currency have a number of mixed use boutique offerings within Thailand.
Panwa, Makham Bay and Koh Siray all figure prominently on the islands tourism expansion plan, and look to fuel more redevelopment opportunities in Phuket city. Currently Thai hospitality group FICO are renovating an old Sino Portuguese mansion which will house a Blue Elephant branded restaurant and cooking school.
