National airline Lao Airlines is getting a new competitor as nearby Laos is seeing considerably commercial and tourism growth.
Phongsavanh Airlines will use Vientiane as its hub for flights to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Boeing 737-400 aircraft will be operated by the upstart.
