NEWS FLASH Thai Airways Phuket to Shanghai and Beijing

It's been reported in the local press that Thai Airways will launch regular service from Phuket to Shanghai and Beijing according to EVP Chokchai Panyayong. The move is aimed at increasing tourism to the resort island an revitalize one of Thailand's largest visitor markets
China which saw widespread decreases this year due to a quasi official travel ban earlier in the year, and continued concern on political stability. China and India remain the virtual mother lode of mass tourism and certainly when any blips occur such as the GRC (global financial crises) then all eyes turn to short haul markets to fill Phuket's surging hotel supply.
