Oakwood Pumped Up with Singapore Partnership

Global serviced apartment chain Oakwood is poised to embark on a worldwide expansion drive, with much of the focus in Asia Pacific.
Singapore's Mapletree Group is partnering with Oakwood Worldwide in a new joint venture.
Mapletree will be focusing on property expansion in the region and will focus investment into the real estate sector to drive the effort.
As Asia's property markets continue to post strong returns, the move makes sense for US centric Oakwood to access Mapletrees financial strength and strong Asian connections.
