Pattaya Braces For Tourism Free Fall

Of all of Thailand's increasingly mono tourism markets, Pattaya is the most pronounced.
Two geographic segments represent the majority of business – Thai domestic trade and Russia.
Given the virtual sinking of the Russian ruble, the impact is expected to hit not only Pattaya but all of Thailand.
Thai hoteliers are increasingly turning to the Chinese market in hopes of offsetting the forecasted declines.
But that given the Chinese magic mojo card is in the marketing plans of most every South East Asian leisure destination.
