PHUKET HOT SPOT The Surin Strip

Category: Tourism, Posted:07 Jul 2011 | 06:00 am

The chic little beachside upscale community of Surin Beach is continuing to develop into hot spot for tourists and locals alike.
Pioneered by The Chedi (now The Surin), Amanpuri and it later punched up in cache with Twinpalms and then Catch Beach Club.
Luxury ultra villas Surin Heights, Ayara, and Baan Thai Surin Hill have attracted the rich and famous.
Of course Allan Zeman with his island vision quest set the standard in upscale retail at The Plaza Surin.
Now new eateries like Opus One and the recently opened Cudos are catching on fast. The later groups will open a second outlet down the street called Epicure Fine Foods and a second Zemanesque Plaza is in the planning stages.
For us The Surin Strip is becoming one of the more attractive stretches of island territory and looks to continue to push the envelope on new and better offerings.
