Phuket’s Boathouse Hotel Sold

One of the island’s first boutique hotels has been sold, the Boathouse in Kata.

The seller of the property is Thailand’s Montara Holdings and the buyer is a listed Singapore group.

According to a filing with the Singapore Stock Exchange the purchaser is a subsidiary of the HPL Group.

JLL Hotels brokered the sale.

This year is shaping up to be a large-scale transaction market with such island hospitaltiy assets as The Nai Harn and Manahai Surin Beach current for sale.
