As of yesterday, Phuket hotels, restaurants, and bars are now again allowed to serve alcohol.

Given the loosening of restrictions for travel between Phuket and Bangkok, along with rising airlift, it’s expected island hotels will see a rise in domestic demand. Within October the Thai Government is also set to bring back the domestic travel stimulus program – We Travel Together.

With flights moving again, Thai Air Asia has announced the resumption of Phuket – Chiang Mai direct flights in mid-October.
