Regent Godfather Bob Burns Is Back

The high profile Regent Hotel brand has enlisted founder Robert “Bob” Burns as Honorary Chairman.
The luxury mainstay was recently acquired by Taiwanese group Formosa International Hotels International from its former owners Carlson Hospitality and Rezidor.
Launched in 1970 by Burns, the group was eventually acquired by Four Season's as its platform for expansion into Asia Pacific.
A new President ex GHM executive Ralf Ohletz has been appointed to man the new group's expansion drive.
