Samui's Low Carbon Island Initiative

Koh Samui's Green Island project is gaining momentum with support from the the APEC Energy Working Group.
Its Model Town Project aimed to reduce Co2 emissions, reuse solid waste and treat waste water which can in turn be re-used as a secondary water source.
Without a doubt and in spite of being an economic powerhouse, Phuket seems to be missing the boat on addressing the ever-growing carbon problem.
