SC Capital Takes Out Maldives Resort

SC Capital Partners has acquired a 124-villa upscale resort in the Maldives.
Located in Baa Atoll, the Reethi Beach Resort will likely be part of a re-positioning strategy.
The private equity group SC Capital manages funds under its Real Estate Capital Asia Partners fund/s structure.
Leading hospitality advisory JLL brokered the transaction.
In Thailand SC Capital has been highly visible in the marketplace for their acquisition of hotels which have been put into the Manathai portfolio, and most notably in Phuket with the acquisition of the Phuket Yacht Club.
They currently control over forty hotels across their funds.
