Shopping Mall Redefines Pattaya Domestic Appeal

Category: Tourism, Posted:01 May 2011 | 06:00 am

I was in Pattaya last week on a business trip and had a chance to visit the brand new Hilton atop Central Festival Mall.
Looking at the beach road strip of hotel including the newish Holiday Inn and upgraded Hard Rock Hotel the city's hotels are indeed getting their act together.
Perhaps the most defining demand generator for Pattaya in recent years was the opening of the Central Festival Shopping mall across from the beach.
The complex is Asia's largest oceanfront shopping complex and many property experts have proclaimed the facility is one of the leading drivers in domestic property sales.
Forget botox or a facelift, the Central Festival gave an extreme makeover to a market which aside from Bangkok has been the country's biggest real estate success stories of the past few years.
