Six Senses Naka Yai Resort Changes Name

Thailand's Erawan Group's Six Senses Destination Spa has changed names in a strategic realignment.
The ground breaking wellness retreat on nearby Naka Yai island off the East Coast has been renamed Six Senses Sanctuary Phuket.
With an innovative and unique offering the property had suffered somewhat of an identity crises, and the new move with incoming General Manager Lionel Valla is aimed at creating wider reach in the marketplace.
Phuket's East Coast broader hospitality market continues to struggle with seasonal trading and spikes in demand. Though new additions such as the Westin Siray Bay are gaining ground in attracting West Coast-centric tourists.
