One of the region's economic miracles India is seeing the rich and famous flee the financial capital of Mumbai to new master planned villa communities.
A series of mega primary and second home upscale property developments have cropped up in the distant environs of the overflowing city.
Oceanfront and cooler hillside locations are proving to be the most popular in the shifting landscape.
Whether its urban flight or for the poorer residents urban plight the growing divide between the rich and poor is drawing some criticism with the country.
One positive of the shift is a modernization of aging infrastructure and boost to the domestic economy though this newly built urban estate or micro communities.
