Starwood Moves Towards No More Keycards

International chain Starwood hotels are focusing on developing more tech innovations with their Radio Frequency Identification system.
In a growing number of properties managed, guests who have Starwood Preferred Guest membership are able to use these cards for room access.
Streamlined check is another add-on bonus for the initiative.
For hoteliers the question remains is mobile devices and smart phones will be the ultimate solution going forward in the move away from card keys?
